For example, I use a Ninja 4 quart air fryer for the majority of my recipes and it fits two, possibly three zucchini boats at a time. Alternatively, you can use a shelf style air fryer that accomidates more food if you have a larger family. Both styles work equally well, one just may require batch cooking.
Air Fryer Accessories
There are a few optional tools that may cooking zucchini in the air fryer a little easier. Some of these are size specific so choose the shape and size of your air fryer accordingly.
- Silicone Liners: these are excellent because you can wash and reuse them easily, they come in round and square sizes. These work for basket-style air fryers.
- Reusable Mister: the key to excellent, crispy air fryer food is a smidge of oil! This refillable oil mister is great because you can choose the oil of your choice. I have two and keep one with avocado oil and one with olive oil.
