This 2-ingredient Wine Slushie recipe is going to be your go-to summer drink! You are going to love this alcohol smoothie for pool parties, brunches, and cookouts.

Grab a bag of frozen fruit and your favorite moscato for this delicious wine slushie! Whether you spell it slushie or slushy or slushee, this cold drink is going to be your new favorite for a hot summer day.
Why you will love this recipe:
- Easy – You don’t need any bartending experience for this super simple cocktail! There are only two ingredients, and neither are difficult to find. There is no cooking, shaking, muddling, or simple syrup involved at all, just a little blending!
- Quick – There is only 20 seconds of blending in this recipe, so you will be pouring a round of this sunshine in no time!
- Versatile – This recipe works with different fruits and different wines, too! Use non-alcoholic wine, try a blend of multiple fruits, or pick your ingredients based on the color for a beautiful party spread (great for bridal showers!)
Ingredients
Here is a quick overview of what you will need for this party drink. Find exact measurements in the printable recipe card.
- Wine – I used my favorite Moscato. It is usually sweet, a bit fruity and floral, and pairs well with tons of different fruits. Feel free to use different kinds of white wine, red wine, even Pink Moscato or Rosé.
- Frozen mango – This fruit gets a beautifully creamy texture when it goes into the blender while still frozen! You could use your favorite fruits instead, just make sure they are nice and frozen for the smooth slushie texture.
How to make wine slushies
This recipe could not be any simpler… Just place your frozen fruit in the blender, top with your wine, and blend for 20 seconds! Taste, then choose to add additional wine or fruit based on your preference.
What to serve with wine slushies?
We love this creamy party drink with our favorite appetizers like Bacon Wrapped Shrimp or Air Fryer Meatballs. For a colorful and delicious party spread, try it with Pesto Chicken Sliders, a Grilled Fruit Salad, and some Stuffed Potato Skins.
Can I make this ahead of time?
No, I do not recommend making this ahead of time as this sweet treat starts to melt. However, if you make a large batch and have some left, you can pour it into an ice cube tray, place it in the freezer, and blend those in the next time you make wine slushies.
Can I make this without alcohol?
Yes, you can make this slushie non-alcoholic by simply swapping the wine with another liquid. White grape juice would likely give you the most similar flavor, but you could make fantastic flavor combinations with peach, pineapple, or citrus juices.
Tips, Variations, and Suggestions
- Try different flavors! Frozen pineapple, peaches, strawberries, or blueberries could all be fantastic. Berries with tons of hard seeds (blackberries, raspberries, etc.) may not produce the smoothest texture, but they still taste delicious.
- Use your favorite wine. A Riesling or Sauvignon Blanc would make great white wine slushies while a Pinot Noir or Cabernet Sauvignon would make wonderful red wine slushies.
- Do not use fresh fruit or thawed fruit. While the flavor is still tasty, you only get a slushie-consistency drink when you use frozen fruit. Ice cubes will water down your drink.
- Try layering! For a fun party option, make several different flavor slushies, then let guests mix and match for the perfect slushies. This mango Moscato version would be fantastic with a pineapple Riesling or strawberry Rosé.
