Bring everyone together this Taco Tuesday with a beautiful entertaining board. This Chicken Taco Salad Board is put together with fresh ingredients for everyone to enjoy!
Taco Salad Board
My favorite meals are ones where each person builds their plate, like with this Chicken Taco Salad Board! For the most part, I find dietary restrictions more natural to accommodate this way since I am more focused on individual ingredients and providing options. I find pick-eaters to be more comfortable with a meal when they build their plate, and I have also noticed them being more accepting to try new ingredients!
I love having friends and family together over food, but sometimes it is too much pressure to try and make something everyone will love. There are few things as frustrating as putting together an entire meal to watch people pick through their food and throw away half-eaten meals. Not today, though! This healthy taco salad board is the perfect dinner solution for every occasion!
Reasons to love this Chicken Salad Board

- Easy to customize
- Perfect for entertaining or holidays!

What ingredients to use on a Taco Salad Board
You can use whatever foods you like on a Taco Salad Board! First, I start by picking a protein, something like chicken, shrimp, steak, pork, or beans. This Chipotle Ranch Grilled Chicken is one of my favorites! Then select your salad base. The traditional taco salad base is crunchy lettuce, but if you prefer a dark green that works great as well or create a rainbow of greens and add a little bit of everything!
Once you have decided on your main ingredients, choose what add ons you and your guest would like. I always have diced tomatoes, jalapenos, avocado, cheese, and fresh guacamole too. I often add any odds and ends I have in my produce drawer that need to be eaten because everything is good on a taco, right?!
You could add chips to your board as well as olives, limes, cilantro, cabbage, corn, and salsa. This board is entirely customizable! I would love to see what you come up with, post a picture of your board in the comments below, or tag me on social on Facebook or Instagram!
When should I serve this Salad Board?
I serve board style meals at least once a week! Try this taco salad next Taco Tuesday and see how your family likes it. You could also serve this up for a fun Cinco de Mayo party! This is also a perfect weeknight dinner- serve with Mexican Cornbread, Bean Dip, or Cornbread Salad for a complete meal!
