Silicone brush
- Cornmeal for sprinkling
- 1 lb pizza dough I used Wholly Wholesome Gluten-Free dough
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1.5 cups cooked chicken shredded or chopped
- 1.5 cups mozzarella shredded
- ¼ cup red onion small diced
- ¼ cup pepperoncini peppers chopped
- ¼ cup cilantro chopped
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and sprinkle a light dusting of cornmeal on it.
Stretch your pizza dough into a 12-inch circle on the lined baking sheet. Brush with olive oil, making sure to get the edges and crust area as well.
Spread your BBQ sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about 1 inch around the edges for your crust. Top the sauce with the chicken, red onion, and peppers.
Bake for 20-25 minutes. Once the crust is golden and crisped to your liking, remove it from the oven.
Sprinkle the fresh cilantro over the pizza, slice, and serve.
