Equipment

Ingredients

  • Cornmeal for sprinkling
  • 1 lb pizza dough I used Wholly Wholesome Gluten-Free dough
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1.5 cups cooked chicken shredded or chopped
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella shredded
  • ¼ cup red onion small diced
  • ¼ cup pepperoncini peppers chopped
  • ¼ cup cilantro chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and sprinkle a light dusting of cornmeal on it.
  • Stretch your pizza dough into a 12-inch circle on the lined baking sheet. Brush with olive oil, making sure to get the edges and crust area as well.
  • Spread your BBQ sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about 1 inch around the edges for your crust. Top the sauce with the chicken, red onion, and peppers.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes. Once the crust is golden and crisped to your liking, remove it from the oven.
  • Sprinkle the fresh cilantro over the pizza, slice, and serve.
