How to Cook Crab Cakes in Air Fryer
First, preheat your air fryer to 380 degrees for 2-3 minutes. Next, mix all the ingredients together in a medium sized bowl and allow it to chill a minimum of 10 minutes. Separate and pat the mixture into 6 crab cakes. Spray your Air Fryer with oil and place your crab cakes in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes, but check at 8 minutes. Thinner crab cakes will cook more quickly, so if yours are thinner than mine they will cook faster.
How long to cook frozen crab cakes in air fryer
Whether you bought frozen crab cakes or you meal prepped yours and froze them, you can easily cook them in the air fryer. If cooking from frozen, cook for 12-13 minutes at 380 degrees. If you have thawed your patties, then cook for 8 minutes and then check them. If they are not cooked enough for you, cook for 2 more minutes.
Are Air Fryer Crab Cakes good for keto meal prep?
Absolutely! You can prep the crab cakes one day ahead of time and store in the fridge. When you are ready to cook, prepare your patties and cook fresh. Patties can also easily be frozen before or after cooking. I recommend freezing onto parchment or wax paper in a single layer, so your crab cakes don’t freeze together.
