- 2 medium red apples peeled, cored, and sliced into 1/4 inch slices
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted and divided
- 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees F.
Toss the sliced apples in 1 tablespoon of melted butter in a medium bowl.
Spray your air fryer with oil, then pour in the apples. Apple fry for 14-16 minutes, tossing every 5 minutes.
Remove the air fried apples from the basket and return them to the medium-sized bowl. Toss with the rest of the melted butter, as well as the syrup and cinnamon. Serve immediately!
- Honeycrisp, Gala, and Fuji apples all work great for a sweet flavor. If you like something more tart, use Granny Smith!
- Serve on oatmeal, yogurt, with granola, or on ice cream.
- These do not get crispy--They soften and basically taste like apple pie filling.
