Ingredients

  • 4 frozen hash brown patties

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 380 degrees F for 3 minutes for even cooking.
  • Add hash browns and cook for 15-17 minutes. Flip once in the middle of cooking time, but otherwise don't shake or bother until finished.
  • Remove from oven once golden brown and crisp to your preference.

Notes

  • If you're in a hurry, you could cook these at 400 degrees F for 10-12 minutes. The crispy edges don't get as thick and crunchy, but they are still delicious and crisp enough to replace a fast food hash brown.
  • Many foods benefit from shaking a few times while cooking in the air fryer (to increase air circulation), but this is not one of them! You want pretty even, unbothered cooking on both sides, so it's best to leave it alone other than flipping around the 8 minute mark.
  • I used Kroger's frozen Seasoned Hash Brown Patties in the freezer section. These patties are 2.22 ounces each. If the frozen patties available to you are smaller or larger, you'll need to adjust the cooking time accordingly.
